MEET RIVKA

Mrs. Rivka Varnai received her Bachelor's degree in education and special education from Touro University. Rivka is certified with the Illinois State Board of Education for grades K-9 in Elementary Education with LBS1 endorsement. She went on to receive a Master's of Education in Reading with Reading Specialist Certification for grades K-12 from National Louis University.

 

Rivka has over 20 years of experience working with children with learning challenges. She taught at South Park School in Deerfield Illinois, Gesher HaTorah Therapeutic Day School and Hillel Torah North Suburban Day School in Skokie, IL. She served as a resource teacher, self- contained special education teacher,  primary student services coordinator and director of student services. Additionally, Rivka served as Adjunct Professor at Touro University, teaching educational technology to teachers in training.

Rivka is passionate about helping children grow and succeed in their literacy skills.
